A British man who decided to fly out to Milan for a night out, claims it cost him the same amount of money as a night of partying in London.
Jamie Segal, from Cambridge, documented his extreme trip on TikTok, showing his followers everything he managed to squeeze into less than 24 hours.
The video, posted under the handle @jamie.segal, has already been seen by more than 400,000 people who are flocking to the comments to question how they can do it themselves.
He flew out at 11:45am on a Saturday, returning to the UK at 9am the following morning - without booking a hotel.
He started off the video by saying: 'If you're bored of doing nights out in England then this is your sign to book some cheap flights and do a night out abroad.
@jamie.segal I travelled to Milan for a night out. Flights were £31 return so why not. Full video on YouTube. 🇮🇹 #milan #italy #travel #foryou #foryoupage #irons #coyi

'So we booked these flights to Milan, they cost us £31 which is unbelievable.'
The TikToker admitted: 'Obviously Milan is a bit of an expensive city but honestly, you spend the same amount of money as you would in London for example, so we thought why not.
'We had a bit of time to explore before the sun set so I went to the Duomo di Milano and looked at the piazza down at the bottom.'
He filmed stunning sunset views of the city, from the top of one of its most famous buildings.
Jamie continued: 'Then we even had time to go to the San Siro as why not. Got a bit of pizza, a bit of Peroni - proper Italian.
'Saw some castle as well, which was really nice under the lights. Then it was time to go to the San Siro.'
The Brit explained: 'Obviously we had to go there, just in case it does get knocked down. I mean I don't really know what is going on with it, but we managed to see it, saw some ultra signs.'
Next, he and his friends found time for another meal in the Navigli district, which consisted of tapas, carbonara and some wine.

He finished the video by saying: 'Then it was time to go out, and I'll let you enjoy some dancers in this club called Alcatraz.'
Panning the camera around a busy nightclub, he recorded the bustling crowds and some dancers on the stage.
Commenters were quick to quiz the TikToker on how much he spent while in the Italian city, with one penning: 'How much did the whole trip cost then mate?'
Jamie replied: 'Between £100-£200 including everything. Transport, food, drinks. Same amount I'd spend in London to be fair.'
Another queried: 'Where to find those cheap flights?,' to which the TikToker explained: 'It’s easy hahahaha, look about a week before you wanna go, they should be cheap enough!'
Meanwhile, a third quipped: 'It’s the hassle of all the airports that’s put me off doing a day thing.'
Jamie reassured them: 'Honestly it’s not that bad. Was really easy getting out of Bergamo airport.'
Inspired, others tagged their friends writing: 'Let’s do this' and 'wanna do this in future.'
The concept of flying somewhere for an extremely short period of time, known as 'extreme day tripping,' is becoming increasingly popular in the UK - and Milan is a popular destination.
Just last November, another Londoner decided to embark on a short but fun-filled whistle-stop tour of the Italian city.
Ehteshan Hanifa, 29, 'couldn't recommend it enough' to others after jetting off to Milan at 5:45am and enjoying a day out, before flying back to London at 8:30pm - with the flights costing just £27.
He crammed in a relaxing spa day and some sightseeing, before enjoying some pasta and a pistachio pizza, with gelato to finish.
Ehteshan's post about his day abroad quickly racked up more than a million views.
